Antisemitism can be subtle and systemic. It is not only swastikas and skinheads. Antisemitism is often the accumulation of small injustices that collectively cleave Jews from the “community of good”, leaving the Jewish community isolated and vulnerable. Each person who contributes to this culture of antisemitism is responsible.
Incidents of hate and antisemitism have exploded across Washington.
Too many extremists feel empowered by a culture that’s permissive of their hate. Too many of our neighbors now live in fear.
We are a coalition of community leaders from the Greater Seattle area coming together to say, “enough!”.
We will stand up and speak out in the face of hate and antisemitism.
We implore others not to remain silent.
